MailManager.php

TLDR

The file MailManager.php is a part of the Illuminate\Mail namespace in the Demo Projects project. It defines a MailManager class that acts as a manager for creating and resolving mailer instances. The class provides methods for getting mailer instances by name, creating transport instances, setting global addresses, managing custom transport creators, and more.

Methods

There are several methods defined in the MailManager class:

mailer($name = null)

This method returns a mailer instance by the given name. If no name is provided, it returns the mailer instance for the default driver.

driver($driver = null)

This method is an alias for the mailer method. It returns a mailer instance for the given driver name, or the default driver if no name is provided.

createSymfonyTransport(array $config)

This method creates a new transport instance based on the given configuration.

createSmtpTransport(array $config)

This method creates an instance of the Symfony SMTP Transport driver.

configureSmtpTransport(EsmtpTransport $transport, array $config)

This method configures additional options for the SMTP transport driver.

createSendmailTransport(array $config)

This method creates an instance of the Symfony Sendmail Transport driver.

createSesTransport(array $config)

This method creates an instance of the Symfony Amazon SES Transport driver.

createSesV2Transport(array $config)

This method creates an instance of the Symfony Amazon SES V2 Transport driver.

createMailTransport()

This method creates an instance of the Symfony Mail Transport driver.

createMailgunTransport(array $config)

This method creates an instance of the Symfony Mailgun Transport driver.

createPostmarkTransport(array $config)

This method creates an instance of the Symfony Postmark Transport driver.

createFailoverTransport(array $config)

This method creates an instance of the Symfony Failover Transport driver.

createRoundrobinTransport(array $config)

This method creates an instance of the Symfony Roundrobin Transport driver.

createLogTransport(array $config)

This method creates an instance of the Log Transport driver.

createArrayTransport()

This method creates an instance of the Array Transport Driver.

getHttpClient(array $config)

This method returns a configured Symfony HTTP client instance.

setGlobalAddress($mailer, array $config, string $type)

This method sets a global address on the mailer instance based on the given configuration and type.

getConfig(string $name)

This method returns the mail connection configuration for the given name.

getDefaultDriver()

This method returns the default mail driver name.

setDefaultDriver(string $name)

This method sets the default mail driver name.

purge($name = null)

This method disconnects and removes the given mailer instance, or the default mailer instance if no name is provided.

extend($driver, Closure $callback)

This method registers a custom transport creator closure for the given driver.

getApplication()

This method returns the application instance used by the manager.

setApplication($app)

This method sets the application instance used by the manager.

forgetMailers()

This method resets all of the resolved mailer instances.

__call($method, $parameters)

This is a magic method that dynamically calls the default driver instance.
