FactoryMakeCommand.php

TLDR

The FactoryMakeCommand.php file is a part of the Illuminate\Database\Console\Factories namespace. It is responsible for creating a new model factory. The file contains a FactoryMakeCommand class that extends the GeneratorCommand class. It provides methods for generating the class with a given name, resolving the fully-qualified path to the stub file, and getting the destination class path.

Methods

getStub()

Returns the stub file for the generator.

resolveStubPath($stub)

Resolves the fully-qualified path to the stub.

buildClass($name)

Builds the class with the given name.

getPath($name)

Returns the destination class path.

guessModelName($name)

Guesses the model name from the Factory name or returns a default model name.

getOptions()

Returns the console command options.
