Schedule.php

TLDR

The file src/Illuminate/Console/Scheduling/Schedule.php contains the Schedule class, which is responsible for managing events to be scheduled in Laravel's console scheduling system. It provides methods for adding different types of events, such as callbacks, Artisan commands, and job callbacks. The Schedule class also has methods for determining which events are due to be executed, getting the list of all scheduled events, and specifying the cache store to be used for mutexes.

Methods

call

Adds a new callback event to the schedule. The callback event executes a given callback function.

command

Adds a new Artisan command event to the schedule. The command event executes an Artisan command.

job

Adds a new job callback event to the schedule. The job callback event dispatches a job for execution.

dispatchToQueue

Dispatches the given job to a queue for execution.

dispatchUniqueJobToQueue

Dispatches the given unique job to a queue for execution.

dispatchNow

Dispatches the given job for immediate execution.

exec

Adds a new command event to the schedule. The command event executes a shell command.

compileParameters

Compiles parameters for a command.

compileArrayInput

Compiles array input for a command.

serverShouldRun

Determines if the server is allowed to run a specific event at a given time.

dueEvents

Gets all the events on the schedule that are due for execution.

events

Gets all the events on the schedule.

useCache

Specifies the cache store to be used for storing mutexes.

getDispatcher

Gets the job dispatcher, if available.

Classes

There are no classes defined in the file.
